Jewel Journey

When you read the title you may think that Jewel Journey by Eyecon is a classic gemstone slot. We assumed it would be similar to games like Epic Gems or Jewel Strike but we were wrong! The game actually takes us out on an expedition into the jungle with the aim of uncovering some ancient treasures - definitely a very individual game that we welcome to our collection here at Slot Shack.

Design

Players will be drawn to the game on design alone, with the background consisting of a beautiful even sky. It sets the scene perfectly and really helps you settle in. Lower down, the background has a jungle theme with many exotic looking trees in full view. Some of the reel symbols are fantastically detailed and really add depth to the game as a whole.

There are normal and bonus symbols and the normal ones consist of a number of items including a hunting knife, a lit torch, walking boots and a tiger. It really gives the game an air of adventure. We love the design as it is really immersive.

Game Features

The Great Escape is the main feature and triggered by landing three or more of the tiger symbols anywhere on the reel. There’s a prize of up to 100X in total so watch out for it as this is a great bonus round. Additionally, there is the Gem Select round which involves landing three or more of the map symbols. You have to pick one of the gems displayed and you can also win a multiplier of up to a total of 60X.

Free spins can also be won if you land 3, 4 or 5 of the professor scatter symbols anywhere in view. This can net you up to 12 free spins which is decent enough and it really adds to your game time when they land. Additionally, you can also gamble your latest win for the chance at doubling or quadrupling it if you can correctly guess from one or two options presented.
